Hi, my name is Alexandra Zelinski, and I am a Veterinary Assistant at Webb Bridge Animal Hospital in Alpharetta, Georgia. I have had a love of animals for as long as I can remember, and I am grateful every day to turn that passion into my career.
Personal Hobbies and Interests
Outside of work I spend time caring for my clowder of cats and my dog, Husky (yes, that is genuinely his name!). I also enjoy reading and attending heavy metal concerts.
Favorite Part of My Job
I love the constant learning that comes with this job — there is always something new to discover. I also really treasure the relationships I get to build with our patients and their clients over time.
Why I Chose This Profession
I have had and loved animals since I could talk. It is not just the animals themselves that drew me to this field — it is the science and constant learning behind everything we do. That combination keeps me engaged and excited to come to work every day.
Education
I graduated from the University of North Georgia with a Bachelor of Science in Biology and a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry.
Professional Background
My main areas of interest are surgery and diagnostics. I love being in the surgical suite and using diagnostic tools to get to the bottom of what is going on with a patient.
